         The Story So Far          
ͼ

Deep within the realm of Darkness, Quake has been waiting to rule all 
that he can. Realizing the power of the forces of Poopy, Quake's evil leeched the
essence of Poop into his own creatures, giving them increadable power. You, as a
lone survivor of the failed SlipGate Project, must journey back within the realm of 
Darkness to once again battle the forces of Shub-Niggurath and her minions. Beware,
Quake's power is now far greater than your own, you will need your wits and senses
(and a grenade gun) to defete Shub this time. May the Poop flow forth and may you 
be one with the floam.

  Description of the Modification

I'm a psycho (keep this in mind at all times, expect anything to happen)..

This not so cheap even less than little patch gives you: 

--> Rapid fire everything with unlimited ammo. 

--> Guided rockets, phased so that they can go through walls. 

--> Lava Grenades that really go BOOM! 

--> Chunky kibble nail gun. 

--> Enemies in deathmatches. 

--> Crunchy go boom boom deaths. 

--> Loads of blood. 

--> Big explosions that can throw you across the level (if you're invincible, 
    otherwise you're gonna be a wall pancake). 

--> Mind Altering grenades that produce purple clouds of gas.

--> Enemies that randomly spew lightning from their bodies.  Even when dead.

--> 15 New grenade types, use impulse 101 and 100 to change between them. 
    The proper impulse to switch between them is binded to T and Y in the included 
    config.

--> Poor Suicidal Soldiers with sticks of Trilithium Explosives strapped to their chest

    it to misfunction, and not finish it in one try.

--> Quake's power spread into the weapons of Soldiers, giving them lightning guns.

--> Guns with spent uranium rounds at the center. (How many licks does it take to get to the
    center of a uranium pellet? Only you can find out.)

--> Dogs that have eaten too many beans for their own good.

--> New grappling hook inspired by Venom. Impulse 81 for a new web, 82 to drop all webs.

     Means of Self-Destruction

The GrenadeExplode function is overused in this patch. It can gib a Shambler in
three blasts. You have been warned. The soldiers are mutants in desguise, blast them 
hard enough to blow out green gibs. You have been warned. I don't care how stupid 
this patch gets. You have been warned. The bouncing grenades are death in a can. 
i Am Psycho.

     Extra Grenade Disriptions     
ͼ

          1. Shranel Bombs
             Acts like a normal grendade. then hops into the sky and
             explodes, spewing nails in many colourful directions.
	     IMPROVED CODE By: Lord Havoc  -- Very Dangerous now.

          2. LavaNail Launchers
             Acts like a slightly less than normal grenade. Rises and
             shoots lavaballs like nails in a circle randomly.

          3. Hunting Cluster Bombs
             Goes BOOM! Everything in the near my vicinity goes BANG!
             Everytihng in the less than near by vicinity goes OUCH!
             Everything in the even more than slightly less than
             vicinity goes WOW!

          4. RPG (Really Poopy Gun)
             A Rocketless launcher.

          5. Fast Attack Ricochet Grenade
             Turns grenades into a megasuperbouncyofdeaththatkillsalotball.

          6. Lone Nail Hunter Trap
             Is a grenade until it turns into a nail and shoots anything it can
             see.

          7. Vampiric Health Sucker
             Takes life from other players.

          8. Healing Nails
             Give life to other players. (No not dead ones. yet..)

          9. Armor Piercers
             Hurts so much it keeps on going through soft bodily tissues and
             handkercheifs. Rewritten by Lord Havoc -- Very Deadly.

         10. Ammo Caches
             Backback in a can, not that you'll need them or anything..

         11. Homing Missles
             Guess.

         12. Flares
             Guess.

         13. Cameras
             Turns off with Impulse 120. Gives you a remote view, cannot move,
             but you still can.

         14. The Death Probe
             Floats around hunting things that can die. It makes sure they do.
             Makes a great ice breaker for parties. Try it in a crowded subway.
             Now they actually go away after a while!

	 15. Pipe Bombs 	(Detonate - Impulse 113, Disarm - Impulse 114)
	     Pipe Bombs are useful anarchy tools for timed destruction. BE CAREFUL! Too
	     many can crash your game. I'd limit them, but it all depends on you memory
	     stack, and it's not fair to limit people by there system. They can tag 
	     players/monsters for later killing. When you die all your bombs go off. 
	     Detonate all with Impulse 113, Disarm all with impulse 114.

	 16. The PowerSwitch
	     This device is a powerful ring of a dense material that sucks all
	     the light out of the level, with ocassional flashes of light. When
	     it's capacity is filled, explodes. Because the material is so dense,
	     it occassionally will drop through the floor.

	 17. The AOL Disk Bomb
	     A Bomb. We all know about AOL... (temporarily removed)

	 18. Magical Attack Shrooms
	     These enchanting mushrooms launch with the magical word "Rattatouile!",
	     spawning a sacred shroom. They suffer from spawning sickness for a moment,
	     then take they're true form as mutant Wizards. Use them as targets, or
	     as barriers in a quick get-away.

	 19. Spawn Cubes
	     We all remember Quake's power hidden in DooM 2's Spawn Cubes. Now you harness
	     that power. These spawn your very own Pet Attack Shambler. But, be careful,
	     let them get hurt, and they may turn against you. 
	     (Your results may vary from given accounts)


Levels :
--------

The two included levels are 

Dogie.bsp
blast.bsp

Dogie is full of dogs and a few Shamblers. See how many you can kill before you get a 
Packet Overflow.

Blast is a big room. It is designed for the sole purpose of getting use to the blasting
range of the grenades, and other weapons. Also fun for getting used to using webs.
They can be alot of fun.


Bug/Feature Fixes / To be fixed :
-------------------
MAJOR BUG FIXES -
Game no longer crashes if you die in a deathmatch. (Oops..)

NOT SO MAJOR BUG FIXES - 
Soldiers no longer get caught inbetween death and life. If you'd like to see this option
back as a feature, mail me and I'll put it in as an option.

Not so major Unfixed Bugs -
PowerSwitch might fall out of level, cause you to not be able to see the model, and 
not be able to be harmed when if if blows up.

Warnings :
----------
1. Ok, I know this is a really really sick patch, but hey, it's loads of fun in deathmatches.
   There is a SERIOUS risk of crashing your game if you blow up too much at once. So, try
   limit yourself. This is one of the few Quake Patches that turns it in a battle against 
   yourself and the monsters. 

2. We at Encrypted! Productions Ltd. can take no responsibility for what our installer
   does (or does not) do to your system.  If there you encounter a problem while installing
   or other wise using this patch, please e-mail me at the address at the beginning of
   this readme.

3. If you send us a quarter wrapped in duct tape, we will send you the UNDOCUMENTED CHEAT
   file.  Don't be surprised if some one seems to be cheating.  With this patch you can't
   tell for sure.

Be sure to look out for and motally fear any new versions of this patch system.
The PoopY Chronincles are to be realesed soon, tracing the history of the floamy evilution
of Quake. Giving more instite into the dark realm of PoopY Quake, they will be a good ice 
breaker for the upcoming Poopy Partial Conversion, as well as being fun to listen to while
being read by an Amiga Narrator device.
