Extended description:
My first map for Quake! Not my first map release, though. 

To be honest, I don't remember a huge deal about making this map. I know that I made it around about when I first came to func_, and that I spent my first few posts there asking for advice on how to achieve a few different things, but it's been almost six months now since I even touched it so I can't really say much more than that.

Some fun tidbits, though:
- I enjoyed making it! Enough to keep making maps afterwards, at least.
- It's the only map I've ever done using vanilla textures, some of my other creations feature them in tiny amounts but for the most part I've been using custom wads ever since.
- It's the only map I've ever built for stock id1. Everything since has been Quoth or AD.
- It's really short! I wouldn't say it took me a long time to make, though. A few weeks, I think.
- I've never revisted a medieval theme, either. I would say I've been a base/tech junkie ever since, but I did build a "real life" map for the Noir Jam as well.
