Introduction

You may know the .ini file down flat, and .ini file editing is a piece of
cake. But aren't you getting tired of doing it all manually? Well, there
are some solutions. Many people have created some editors which will edit
the .ini file for you, quickly and easily.

Because I am too lazy to upload these utilities on to my site, the links are
download sites from the C&C Data Downlink or personal homepages.

Command & Conquer .ini editor v.1.0b

Nothing fancy about this editor. Nothing bad about it either. The only thing
this program does for your missions is edit your .ini file, and it does it
very well. It is easy to use, and everything about it is simple. Things it
can edit in the .ini file are triggers, teamtypes, waypoints, and
celltriggers.

CCTools v.1.00

This utility does a lot more than just edit your .ini file. It will also
calculate how much power each house (player) has, includes BaseIt, and other
things, including editors for your trigger and teamtype entries. An amazing
utility. Bought to you by Barry & Michiel.

Also, may I add, the manual is very informative.

Ini Master

Another utility by the brilliant Andrew Griffin, the one who bought us
CCEdit (only god knows how many people have used that program). This will
let you view maps from a top down tile perspective, then change actions of
units and infantry, direction of them, let you edit triggers and teamtypes,
add celltriggers, and much more. It does get a bit complicated, so be sure
to read the manual text file before you go about editing.

CCadd

This utility, by MAXcom, is probably the easiest .ini file editor available.
It was released yesterday (as of the time of this writing), and is still in
beta. But none the less, it is still very good. This program is for Windows,
and uses an easy point and click interface. Besides editing the usual
triggers and teamtypes sections, you can edit almost all the other sections
as well! A must for easy .ini file editing.

2. You're done!

Don't forget, only use these utilities if you know the .ini file like the
back of your hand (IF you know the back of your hand).
