                          The Muses - Secong Half

Well, this is the second half of The Muses. These levels were designed
with fewer players in mind. One or two of the levels will play great with only
two players, and all the others will play a little more slowly but will still
be fun for only two players. Erato (level 4) was designed specifically for 3
players... while Euterpe (level 5) was designed for four or more... but will
be a little slow for two, but still playable. Terpsichore (level 1) and
Thalia (level 2) were specifically designed for 2 players.... and
Melpomene (level 3) was designed for 2 to 4 players in mind. All the levels
should play and feel very different from one another, some people will hate
some of these levels while others will like only some of them.... all of them
vary greatly in situation, texture, flow, and size.
These levels were designed with The Muses - First Half in mind. I might
release all 9 of the levels together in one hog for people who want the
whole group or who want to use them for LAN play. I will keep the order the
same except that The Muses - First Half will be the second half of the hog,
while these levels will take the front half of the hog..... so that the levels
flow from smallest to largest. I hope you enjoy these levels.... a lot of time
and effort has gone into their creation. The Muses are probably my favorite
group of mythological creatures.... so I saved them for a project I thought
worthy of a large hog file.
I created many custom textures for these levels and would deeply
appreciate anyone wishing to use them to please ask me first on Kali. I
wouldn't mind someone using them if they ask first and let me know why they
want to. Secondly, AND IMPORTANTLY, there are two control panels in each
level. One, when blown, opens the reactor so that it may be destroyed. I
did this so that no one may inadvertantly shoot the reactor during the fight,
I also thought it would add a neat aspect to ladder matches where on the last
kill the reactor can be blown and people can move to the next level or finish
there. The other panel controls an area that holds a weapnos cache. There are
two gauss' and two omega's in each area, along with enough weapons for a four
or five player game. If people don't want to use gauss or omega them don't
open the panel. But if more than two people are going to play a level then
blow the panel and have fun. But.... you have to find the areas yourself.
I would REALLY, REALLY like to thank the whole AtLANta crew for their
input and help with these levels. It wouldn't be the same set of levels if
it weren't for you guys. Special thanks to kiln for tolerating my early
morning calls and constant need for criticism.... I truly appreciate your
friendship and help.... (tell Pipsquek Richard says 'Hi'). Thanks also to Gwar
for his help and for his awesome page, keep up the great work, and watch that
glass of wine... you might s..p.i..l.l.... w.h..u.p..us...m'
Thank you to all of my friends and others on Kali and all over the place
who play my stupid levels and support my constant endeavor in level building,
if it weren't for you guys I probably would have given up a LONG time ago...
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

I LOVE JENNIFER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
