Special Forces:STRIKE TEAM fully supports any level that will
run in un-modified Quake. One new levels is included with this
beta release.

*Installing SF Quake:

 NOTE: you MUST have FULL/Registered Quake version 1.06 !

 1-In the Quake directory, make a subdirectory called SFQ2 and
   copy the zip file into the new directory.

        md sfq2
	copy sfq210.zip sfq2

 2-Go into SF2 and unzip the files into here

        cd sfq2
        pkunzip sfq210.zip

 3-Go back to the Quake directory and start Quake like this:

        quake -game sfq2

 TROUBLES:
 IF you get a mod_error = you need to patch Quake to 1.06!

*Features:

	-- Team Based: Monsters use team oriented AI, there
	   is currently no way to disable teamplay for deathmatches
	   and remember, "Friendly fire ain't" you can kill your
	   team mates.
	-- Four Teams: SF STrike Team, Urban Commandos, Terrorists,
	   and Mercenaries.
	-- Four Classes: Soldiers, Snipers, Medics, and Combat
	   Engineers. Each with their own special skills.
	-- New Weapons: 7 new weapons, 2 grenades types, and C4.
	-- Multi-Skin support: Player and monster models use multiple
	   skins.
	-- Swinging Grappling Hook: Read HOOK.CFG for details. The
	   grapple is ONLY available to soldiers.
	-- Crouching: Duck down to hide, jumping stands you back up.
	-- BioSuit: Now has breathing sounds and spawns bubbles in
	   water.
	-- Footsteps: Player footstep sounds added, the monsters can
	   hear you also.
	-- Bleeding: Taking hits? Watch your health, when you bleed
	   you loose health, stop your bleeding and you'll slowly
	   return to 100 health.
	-- First Aid: Your buddies loosing blood fast? Try bandaging
	   him. All players can bandage other players, medics do it
	   better and can bandage themselves.
	-- New Armor Effects: Armored enemies (players and monsters)
	   emit sparks when hit, armor offers excellent protection
	   against blasts, so-so against bullets.
	-- Weapon Accuracy: Soldiers and Snipers are better shots
	   and everybody suffers if they try to run and shoot.
	-- Ambience: A vast array of enviromental effects and ambient
	   sounds have been added. See SF2MAP.TXT for details.
	-- Effects: A multitude of minor effects and physics have
	   been changed, far too many to list.

*Weapons:

1) Commando Knife
	Close combat - your last hope (to be replaced)

2) MK23
	H&K USP .45 cal semi-automatic pistol, when all else fails...

3) MOSSBERG SHOTGUN
	Nasty close range weapon.

4) MP5
	H&K MP5 submachinegun. Excellent close quarters weapon with a high
	rate of fire. Two selectable firing modes, Auto and Burst.

5) GRENADES
	Frag and stun grenades as well as C4 charges.

6) M16/M203
	M16 assault rifle fitted with an M203 grenade launcher, two firing
	modes to select (semi-auto, burst). Carefull, accuracy decreases if
	you're moving and shooting.

7) M60
	The ultimate light support weapon. Very sloppy while moving or in
	untrained hands but still powerful.

8) PSG1
	H&K PSG1 semi-auto sniper rifle. In the hands of a sniper it is deadly
	accurate.

   NAILS/BULLETS = MP5, M16
   ROCKETS = grenades, C4
   CELLS = M60, PSG1

*Deathmatches:

Use any level that has DM start positions. Currently there is no
way to disable teamplay.

*GL-QUAKE 

Special Forces:Strike Team will run fine in GLQuake, however the included
map will run incredibly slow in GL (big water area, lots of sky).

*SPECIAL FORCES MISSION PACKS

Check back at SF-Quake's home page for more missions.  I'll create
a few related maps at a time (ie 3-4 maps in 1 scenario) and
release a zip of this new mission pack to upgrade SF-Quake! Level
designers feel free to make maps and send 'em to me, I'll post
anything made for SF-Quake!

*Known Bugs :

-Monsters are slow to spot players at times
-Hook sticks to sky (only in id levels)
-Monsters can't hit worth a d*** (mainly in id levels)
-QuArK (Quake Army Knife) will trash the maps, even if you tell
 it NOT to save. DO NOT USE QUARK TO LAUNCH/VIEW STRIKETEAM MAPS.

it for the NEXT VERSION.
