Title                        : CWDM1 - The Box
Filename                     : CWDM1.BSP
Author : Chris "Kerr Avon" Wigman
Email Address                : cwigman@ndirect.co.uk
Misc. Author Info : Avid Quaker, and a bit of a musician. ;)
                               Despises school, and has an IT teacher
                               that knows less than him. ;D

Description : The first in a series of DM levels by
                               myself. I am working on some SP stuff,
                               but that, of course, takes much longer.
                               Mr. Red gave me the idea of a simple
                               box-type level, that I could expand on
                               in my own way. This is the result.
                               The Box has 12 DM starts, and a SP start
                               if you wish to check it out or play with
                               the reaper bot.  Have fun!

Additional Credits to : - Pete "Mr Red" Harvey, for the design
                               - Mike "Mr Green" Noble, for generally being
                               an annoying bastard. ;)
			       - Gyro Gearloose, for some kickass levels,
			       and the cool GYROTEX.WAD.
			       NOTE THAT SOME OF THE TEXTURES IN GYRO'S
			       WAD HAVE BEEN USED IN THIS LEVEL - 'COS
			       THEY'RE GREAT. :)
                               - Yahn Bernier, for unquestionably the best
                               Quake level editor that exists! (and the
                               first with Hexen 2 support!) Yup, BSP.
                               - id Soft. I spit on those who do not credit
                               these godly persons. They gave us the
                               meaning of life for christs' sake! :)

* Play Information *

Game                         : Deathmatch
Single Player : Reaper Bot works well on this level.
Cooperative                  : No.
Teamplay : Hmm, untested, but may work okay.
Deathmatch                   : From 2 to 12.  (between 2 and 6 is best)

* Construction *

Base : New level from scratch
Editor used : BSP 0.85 (THE kick-ass editor) by Yahn Bernier
Time to Build : Finished in one 6 hour sitting!
Compile time                 : qbsp         :- 46 seconds
                               light -extra :- 250 seconds (4:10)
                               vis -level 4 :- 188 seconds (3:08)
                               Machine used :- Cyrix 6x86-P166+ with 32mb ram
Known Bugs : None, since there are none. I've checked the
			       entire level thoroughly.

* Additional notes *

Two GIF files accompany this level: CWDM100.GIF and CWDM101.GIF. These can
be used for previewing purposes (a-la SPQ Quake Heaven). They are in a
resolution of 512x384 (vid_mode 17).

Oh, and, there is NO WAY WHATSOEVER of getting the lightning gun, quad, pent,
or super-health without rocket or grenade-jumping. There are no hidden
sections, and there is nowhere you can hide - for long.

The Reaper Bot plays quite well on this level - watch out.

* Copyright / Permissions *

This level can not be used as a base for another modification of any sort.

Providing this text file is included, along with both GIF files CWDM100.GIF,
and CWDM101.GIF, this level can be distributed without restriction. The only
exception being for commercial exploitation, which WILL NOT BE ALLOWED WITHOUT
PRIOR PERMISSION FROM ME!!!

Once again, textures from Gyro Gearlooses' GYROTEX.WAD file, have been used in
this level. I wanted a change from the standard id ones, and this is the
perfect "second option" IMHO. The SKY2 texture (stars) were originally used in
the Lunar Base 2 level by Brian Hess a.k.a. Wendigo - I used this for the same
reasons as Gyros' textures.

* Where you can get this modification *

cdrom.com in the usual places (in the c section), athough I'd check incoming
until November, and Quake at Meccaworld.

Soon my own site. Currently, The SuperSonic Matrix, my site does not contain
any Quake-related material. I'll be starting a new site for all my Quake
stuff in the near future.

The Matrix can be found at: http://www.ndirect.co.uk/~cwigman/
If you're a Sonic fan, you'll like it - I recommend taking a look in the
emulation section, where you can download and play nearly ALL of the Sonic
games on the Genesis, Game Gear and Master System - on your PC.
