I will most likely continue this practice in the future, as it keeps a bit of clutter out of the system directory. Better to have one file than five or ten files. Plus, I like downloading once rather than five times for different weapons. On to the new stuff... ****************************************************************** ClusterGrenade ****************************************************************** This mod again modifies the EightBall, or more precisely extends the SuperEight gun, which I released first. I've added in a new alternate fire called the ClusterGrenade. You've probably seen a similar Quake mod. When a grenade is fired, rather than bouncing around, it now sticks in place and launches 5 new grenades from itself. The new grenades behave like standard grenades and bounce\explode as expected. The initial grenade will stick to any wall\floor\ceiling. So you can set up some fairly cool situations. To make it a bit more balanced, you can now only load and fire up to 2 "grenades" into the SuperEight at a time. You can still load 8 rockets. I have also reduced the damage of the grenades to 50% a normal grenade. I think this should be more than fair considering one shot spawns 5 of these things, which all together give considerable more damage than a standard grenade. Summon this in a game by typing "summon RMWeapons.SuperEight" ****************************************************************** Old Stuff: ****************************************************************** Ricochet I was originally going to do this with the Rifle, but thought the Stinger might be a bit more fun. Imagine that bullet effect from various movies, the one that ricochets around forever while every one ducks one way or another to avoid it. Now imagine that every shard fired from the Stinger works exactly that way. The Ricochet works and looks like the Stinger. It also uses Stinger ammo. The only difference is that each little shard fired from the Ricochet bounces around like a Blade from the RazorJack, just a whole lot faster. :) It works in both fire modes. It's especially cool in Secondary mode with all five shards bouncing in different directions. Summon this in a game by typing "summon RMWeapons.Ricochet" ****************************************************************** SuperEight ****************************************************************** I noticed a comment on Blue's about why no one had created an EightBall gun that actually shoots "8" balls. So, I threw one together. It works exactle like the original EightBall except you can load and fire up to a full "8" balls, instead of the original "6". The gun will still fire automatically after 8.
