                           VERSION 2.06

CHANGES FROM QUAKE:

1.WEAPONS

Weapons features:
-You must reload.
-You have to crouch to pick items up.
-Realistic damage model.
-You bleed when shot.
-Hit location: you can shoot people in the head for extra damage.
-Huge explosions.
-You get a choice of weapons upon starting a new game (not DM).

8 all-new weapons:

1:Grenades/multigun/knife/ammo/weapons/keys
This little inventory thing defaults to grenades for ease of
use in tight situations, but repeatedly pressing 1 will cycle
to ammo/weapons/keys, which allow you to throw said items by
firing. Useful in coop/teamplay.
Grenades come in three flavours: normal, gas and flashbang
Normal grenades are useful for clearing rooms of lots of
people. Gas grenades are best used for flushing out snipers.
Flashbangs are great for annoying your opponents by blinding
them temporarily.
The multigun has three modes: the first is the grappling hook -
this is meant for coop but will probably come in handy in DM too.
Once fired, it's crouch to go down and jump to go up. Push both
together to release the rope. NOTE - the grappling gun is NOT
like a normal grapple - you can only go up on it if it is stuck
directly above you, to limit its usefulness in DM, and to stop
single player from being too easy.
The second is the remote activator. Can't quite reach that switch?
Or know that there's something behind that door that you'd rather
have a head start on? Just fire the remote activator at the
offending article and it will trip switches, open doors, activate
triggerfields and so on.
The third mode detaches the grapple head altogether as an explosive
demolition charge that can be used to destroy doors and lifts.
However, it does not work on key doors (otherwise SP would be
*really* easy).
And now, you too can have your own K-Bar by selecting Knife from
the menu. With the knife selected, you get an external view of
yourself(which makes seeing dodging players easier in DM). There
are three different knife attacks available:
Fire: A mid-height swing
Reload: A quick thrust
Toggle Weapon (impulse 64): A high slow stab

2.Desert Eagle
It's a pistol. It shoots big bullets. It hurts people. I wanted
a basic weapon that was actually good. Here it is. There's now
a torch, too. Press 2 again to select it. Get another pistol and
you can run around John Woo-styleee.

3.Uzi 9mm
Submachine gun with a huge ammo reserve. Not too hot damage-wise,
but is very scary. Sounds great, looks cool - what else do you
need? Press 3 again to attach a silencer. With the silencer on,
the gun fires hollowpoint not armour-piercing rounds, and fires
in three-round bursts. Crouching aims a la the M-16.

4.Ithaca 8G double-barrelled sawnoff
What Doom-game is complete without a shotgun or two, eh? Mostly
useful in single player against unarmoured targets like ogres,
but is good for a close range shot to the head. Press 4 again to
select single-barrel firing mode.

5.JanSec 854M 8G
Pump-action shotgun that holds six rounds. The gun that makes
criminals stop when they hear it racked.

6.Hicks Jaybrook custom sniper rifle 7.62mm NATO calibre
Face-eating damage but slow rate of fire. My personal favourite.
Fires smart armour piercing hollow point rounds.
Crouching activates the variable-zoom scope (+/- to zoom in/out)
with laser pin-dot.

7.M-16 5.56mm/Underslung auxiliary RPG launcher
Full-auto rifle with high recoil. Does plenty much damage. Pressing
7 selects the auxiliary RPG launcher. Press and hold fire to adjust
the power level of the shot.

8.Chaingun
25 rounds a second of pure power. We like.

2. POWERUPS

The powerups are different now:
NBC Suit - formerly biosuit - does the same just has a better name!
Infinite Ammo - formerly Quad
Jetpack - formerly Ring of Shadows
Shield - formerly Pentagram - gives you an armour of 400!

They all respawn every minute.
