PS: I've left the game 'cuz that map crashes when appears the "Checking sounds..." message.

Try downloading all the maps from the website first...

My server is still a little unstable as well, trying to stabilize it. Any suggestions?

Linux server is normally better, the clients gets a lower ping..
Try making a lan there, when you have money, buy a new pc with linux installed, connect your internet to it, and connect a lan cable into the linux and your current pc...

Join at 24.184.130.106:27500, most active in the PM, New York time.

Download maps/skins from ftp.nikon.net, not www.ftp.nikon.net, not http//ftp.nikon.net. (Don't use this hyper-link, it won't work)

Username: quake
Password: demotest

You should find: skins.zip, maps.zip, newmaps.zip, newmaps1.zip, newmaps2.zip

I'm running MVDSV server. Went to the online manual, it's not very helpfull. Anyone know how to do it?

Its something like "ban ip"...
ip is the player's ip address..
