How to install Mac OS X onto a new hard drive? So my hard drive keeps crashing on my Mac for no reason (it's the MacBook from late fall 2009), and I might go buy a new hard drive later today. I have the install discs from the box it came in, but can someone give me instructions on what to do to install it? There's a Mac OS X disc (10.6.1) and then there's an applications disc. Help please?

Turn the disc over. Jump up and down on it. Take it back to the Apple store. Tell them it's broke.
