Ok im very new to the whole QuakeC thing still due to the fact i keep doing things then stopping for a few weeks then starting again!!

So i have in my possession:

My qc file called originally myfile.qc

A quake C compiler FrikQCC for Mac

So how the hell do i compile my qc file using a quakeC compiler??

Any ideas??

Since you're a newbie: I suggest downloading progs106.zip for the QuakeC code written by ID Software, shove Frikqcc in that directory then using it to compile the code and start messing with the .qc files from there on to change around Quake's gameplay.

If you wish to add additional .qc files, open progs.src and add your file in there just like all the others!

You can also base your code off "scratch" in the inside3D tutorial section which is bare minimum code to start your mod, however this is the route more experienced people tend to go.
