Keeping up morale?

Not coding-related, but something that's affecting my work: We've got an unfinished kitchen here at home, and a ton of small problems to be taken care of in the house. This is very time consuming.

On the other hand, I've got a bad feeling growing inside me. I'm thinking about releasing my current code as it is, because it's getting harder and harder for me to feel enough at peace to concentrate myself on coding.

At least some of the new code I've written may be useful for other engines, so it may not be a complete waste if I release it as an alpha. Right now I have no idea of when I'll be able to finish another proper release, and I've already been waiting for over a month now.
