No black screen here though i get a rampant scrolling level load screen with black stripes and it just hangs there, only happens when loading a new map.

Yep all works now was just me trying to describe how the previous builds behaved.

2- added the experimental ability to run on intel cards – create shortcut “quake2xp.exe +r_allowIntel 1″

4- To remove demos change default.cfg in q2xp0.pkx – find // DEMO STUFF and change lines below to

how to run q2dq2
1 - unpack in to q2dq2 folder
2 - copy gamex86.dll from q2dq2 to baseq2
3 - run quake2xp.exe +set net_compatibility 1 +game q2dq2
