Damn that is pretty close to what I was imagining except the Blue/Survivor team would pick from a few different weapons at the start and would slow down (to a stop) as they lost their armour - with other Survivors being able to give them armour to keep moving (forcing people to stick together like in L4D).
Not sure how the Red team worked in that mod (I'll fire it up tomorrow) but my version would have similar attacks to the ones in L4D.
So hopefully it'll be different enough!
