Is there any algorithm or program to convert photos taken from a 3D camera into 3D textures with normal maps?

Not that I know of, but there's that trick to use lighting to your advantage to make normal map channels by taking a photo 4 times with different lighting.

the trick -
http://zarria.net/nrmphoto/nrmphoto.htmlOtherwise it would probably require many more photos stitched by software into a 3D model. Autodesk has a new beta that does this (but not the normal maps). Previous Photofly beta I tried briefly, have to manually set a lot of points to get anything usable.
