It could just be the internet borking up, either your connection or the server's.
If the problem persists for more than a couple days, then it might be something else.....

I was playing FvF right now and my ping was variating between 200 and 212. Sometime passed and it kept variating between 367 and 1031! I remember that ORL had the same problem some time ago, when his ping reached 8000... it's strange.

I don't care about closing Quake and opening it again, maybe that fix the issue. The only problem is that my weapons and frags go all fidle-fadlo-foo. That's not nice. All I want to know is the reason for all the ping up. Thanks in advance.
