* Construction *

                        : It has been a mess just for this one map.I finally

                          filled three rather large chunks of it and removed

                          some things including one wicked four tear spiral

                          staircase. Believe me it was not without pain .

      excerpt: I am releasing this even with the grey because I worked too hard

               on it just to let it go. I will try to fix it and rerelease it.

               If any body can truly make a contribution to the correction of 

               this problem , let me know. Thank you!                    

      version update: This is a revised version with many corrections and some 

                      changes.To my knowledge there are no bugs, however the grey

                      is still there. The map is sound though and free of editing

                      mistakes . I am 99% sure of that! The last 2 mistakes I found 

                      were type-o mistakes team_no2 instead of team_no 2

                      and goal_results instead of goal_result.

               changes:- Pulled all the cluttering ammo and replaced with backpacks

                       - Changed the two sniper elevators from shootable doors to

                        func_plat with team_no identification!

                       -tweaked the flag and capturepoint messages!

                       -fixed the intermission view.

                       -remember if a door or something doesn't work for your team

                        IT WASN'T MEANT TOO! :)

          rVIS -full    : 36,095 secs  Slightly longer than the last version.

                          Once I aborted on the larger ver. after 30 hours

                          This was not going to be a big deal.

Description: 

                         2Fort style map/find a way in and steal the flag

                         take it back to the upper tears of your fort and

                         On the blue side it's second from the top access

                         the stairs. On the red side it's on top access the

                         wind shoot just inside the front door up one flight 

                         of stairs. However as in the same way that some doors

                         are team assigned, the bottom wind shoot leading into

                         the red fort is also assigned only to red. the bottom

                         door leading from the water into the blue fort is assigned

                         only to blue so that makes it fair!There are wind tunnels 

                         leading from the blue water side to the red water side and 

                         visa versa. On the blue side there is a shootable hidden

                         door. in the water on the far left facing toward the red 

                         side.On the red side in the same geometric type of position

                         ,the same kinda of tunnel with no secret door.

                            On the blue side in the water you will notice a disk.It is 

                         a teleporter to the shadow ring room[use for blue only].

                            On the red side it is a lava looking square at the end of 

                         a ramp of Q's exclusive to red to the same room!In the room

                         are assigned return teleporters to opposite roofs of the bridges.

                          That should give you a basic functionality of this thing.

                    note: If you see a box with different signs shoot it . If it is assigned

                         to your team , it will open.The only one that isn't that way is the

                         one against the wall leading to that quad power and is not exclusive

                         to either team.  

                                 

                       I will continue to learn and try to produce a 

                         better map each time. My p/200 with 96megs of ram

                         stb lightspeed card with MONSTER 3d accelerator

                         is almost extinct.My motherboard came out before

                         the dimm offering. Yes I only have EDO simm, but

                         there is 2 16s and 2 32s and that is ok for now.

                         Next a couple more of these and then Q2--TF YEAH!









How to use this map:



Unpack hcamp.bsp to your quake\fortress\maps directory. If you want to run

it on a LAN server or just take a peek at it, load quake with -game fortress

and type MAP hcamp in the console to load it. 



If you want to play on a QW server running this map, copy the hcamp.bsp

file into your quake\fortress\maps directory.



It's freeware! Play it and have fun. If it sparks a little creative light

in your mind, then use it. Sparks are hard to come by now days. I am just

thankful that my nephew , Jimmy Murphy aka: Jumpin came in one night,and

said why don't you make a TF map. Special thanks to my nephew. If you run

into Jumpin in a game remember he may be only 13 out here, but in there

he is jumpin and pretty damn good at it. He understands teamplay quite well

and as an opponent he is Ruthless. I helped {:o)  

  NOTICE: This is a re-release of this map. The first one just plain wasn't

 ready. However this one is ! Get in there and take no prisoners:)
