It’s just a tiny mistake but it drives me crazy.

That actually happened to me on my very first playthrough. The old GBA had terrible sound and I didn’t have headphones on, so I didn’t know to listen for the footsteps to stop. There Samus was, hanging on that ledge after falling through the floor, and the SAX was opening the door to leave. Scary. More than any other game I’d played to this point, Metroid Fusion managed to be scary.
