Ok, so there's still a small bug in the forums. After installing the latest update that was released, there's still a minor problem. The forums are back up again, and this bug won't affect any of you. It's just there to cause UBB admins to pull their hair out! Hopefully this will be fixed permanently soon...

I'm taking the forums down for a bit again. There's a newly released update, a few hours old to be exact, that will address this code problem that I found yesterday. Hats off to the crew over at InfoPop for their prompt action in fixing this. It's nice to see how quickly they responded, once things were brought to their attention. The forums should only be down a short while, as I install the updated files...

The forums are back up and running! Thanks to one of the members posting in our thread on the InfoPop UBB forums, I've managed to repair the forums so that they will work ok, until a proper code fix is issued from InfoPop themselves. I'm glad that I wasn't the only one having this problem. Without the support of all the community of UBB members, problems like this would take ages to get fixed! You'll also notice some of the neat new features of this upgrade, so enjoy...

Ok, since you're all probably wondering what the hell is going on with the forums, I'll fill you in. I decided to upgrade (again) to the latest version of the UBB. Now, I've done this before, with no problems, and expected all to go smooth. Guess what? Murphy's Law kicked in once again...turns out there's a bug in the new code, and I can't access most of the forum style settings to repair them. I've sent word to InfoPop, the makers of the UBB, and hopefully there will be a fix for this soon. In the meantime, I'm going to have to keep the boards closed, so that nothing else gets screwed up. I'm not re-installing the boards again, as this is getting to be a huge pain in the butt, and I want the makers to fix it. As soon as I get this whole board thing figured out, I'll let you all know, and reopen the boards. Thanks for your patience in this matter. Needless to say, I'll be tied up on this for a wee bit...

Well, I've finally made it home. After a rather nice, quiet New Year's, I've returned to civilization, and guess what? The computer still works...heh. Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still kicking, and just taking it easy on this cold Sunday. It's nice to see that GameSpy made it through, as the site is still here, eh? Hopefully, we'll have the rest of those map reviews for you soon...
