I play scout ALL the time and think it's about time I
give you a few pointers on the Scout's REAL Friend,
Mr.Caltrop.

IMHO Mr.Caltrop is not used enuff. Mr.Caltrop also does a LOT of
damage and can even kill if used correctly.

When you see another scout on his way out. DONT try to strafe him .
Run next to him or in front of him and let Mr_Caltrop go. If the
Mr.Caltrop hits the enemy scout he will slow down to a crawl. Easy
pickings to finish off.  

What most of the scouts dont seem to know is - you can
throw Mr.Caltrop where you want him . He can even go
horizontal. I have held the Ramp Room in 2fort5 ALONE just by using
Mr.Caltrop.

DONT waste your time throwing Mr.Caltrop on the FLOOR. That is a
waste. Wait for the enemy. Run towards the enemy. ( Try not to get hit
) . Throw caltrop AT the enemy. The caltrop will then impale into the
enemy's BODY and do a LOT of damage. If the caltrops are on the floor
the enemy will just jump / run around it.

THINK ! Use Mr.Caltrop wisely.Another great idea is to wait above the
front door in Rock. When the enemy comes in , drop Mr.Caltrop on his
head. Easy Pickings again.
