Team Fortress Resource Config Version 10.1

Released 28 November 1997

This RC is designed to be used with the 3 button Logitech Marble. Hit F8 to cycle through the different Team Fortress class RCs.

Also included is a Capture The Flag weapon RC that contains a nifty quick grappling hook routine.

Rant On

You will notice that I have not included the grappling hook support in any of the TF class RCs. It is my opinion that the grappling hook does not belong in Team Fortress. The hook totally defeats the purpose of TF.

Rant Off

I take no credit for any part of this RC. I have pieced this together from many of the cool configs out there. Please view the readme and print out the individual files with Notepad. These files are totally unsupported.If you need help with console commmands then visit the Console section at The Quake Stomping Grounds. This is the same reference I use when writing my own RCs. For Team Fortress-specific information check out the Team Fortress homepage. I only put this RC on the web to get players started. It is an exact copy of the one in my Quake\ID1\ directory.

1. Delete all files that have extensions .cfg and .rc in the c:/quake/id1/ directory except "quake.rc".

2. Delete cfg.cfg in c:/quake/qw/ and c:/quake/fortress/.

3. Unzip this archive

4. install everything in c:/quake/id1/

6. Launch Quake World

7. F12 to choose your screen brightness.

8. + and - keys to choose your screen size.

9. F10 to choose the proper weapon config for your class.

9. R now toggles between the top two weapons of each class.
