TF History: MU-MasterBeta

Quake started out for me
at the mall. A local computer store decided to have a quake tourny using
8 of their top-of-the-line computers lanned together. That was the first
quake I had played, but I ended up placing 2nd mostly because I was very
good at DOOM. I installed quake on my computer and began playing it quite
often. The next year, I won the tourney out of 250 participants....ooo
aaa..My real break onto the TF scene came when Quakeworld was released,
along with TF2.5.
I began playing mostly on
2 servers, a ROCK1 only server and Cummy's 4fort4 server. With the little
competition I had (I had cable, everyone else did not), I used to clean
up as a sniper, always sporting my tag of S3. S3 was my first clan, and
my teammates included such names as Chaos_Lord and Warhog. I soon left
S3 for a much better DN. Dark Nation was a great bunch of guys who were
quite good. I remember us ripping S3 a new butthole in my grudge match,
we even had sentries on the bridge. It was all in fun however.
DN-Anya was responsible for
turning me into a medic. I was obviously not a DN sniper, amongst Yayness,
GoodLikeDeath and BowB4God, so Anya tested me out as a defensive medic.
Every match after that, I would roam our base making sure the friendlies
were healthy and the enemies were dead. Friends I made from DN include
BlackOPS, Hells, Anya, CiD, 220-Swift, and Ridicule.
Unfortunatly, DN disbanded
when Anya went off to college, so I joined CP with about 8 of my former
DN teammates. Soon after, all of them left except me. I stayed in CP for
awhile where I befriended the likes of Smoothie, Palin, and Kyle. After
a couple more months, I got a big head and left CP. In the brief limbo
that followed, I looked for my next clan to join. I was picked up by Defiance
shortly, and there I played alongside MrBungle, Baowuf, Tsao, Suntzu and
Heat.
As @home got itself to disliking
the d3f server, my pings and packetloss would be found @ 400-500\20+ respectively.
This was a cause for many a game me being a spectator. I decided to leave
d3f so I could get more playing time, no hard feelings. I finally came
to the clan I will end my TF1 career with, MU or Masters of the Universe.
This server is SWEET lemme tell you.
Also, I find myself amongst
some of my former friends: BlackOPS (AGAIN!), Bean (who I knew back in
my DN days), and Arcus. The rest of the players I have grown to like also.
A shout out to everyone over in #greyskull, you all rock. Now, I plan to
finish out the rest of my TF career honing my skills and savoring each
match. After all, its just a game.
