After i DLed the patch, i tried to run it, but all it did was create a "FAIL" directory. I opened it up, and the file hw.dll was in it, so i copied the file and pasted it in the Half-Life main folder. It copied over an older version of the file, and everything was good until i tried to run the hl.exe file. It said something like "Run a virus scan and reinstall Half-life". Im pretty sure i did something wrong, so if someone could help me fix my problem it would be really helpful. thanx
