Need urgent help!
My god! This isn't fvf related, but I need a very good help. I instaled such a fucking shit called ''internet explorer 7 beta 3'',I mixed in some settings, like the activex control ones and...
I can't acess kinda nothing on my computer now! I can't acces mozzila firefox,I can't acces the unisntall/intall program and the most part of Control panel shortcuts.
This is the error message that apears:
''Windows couldn't acess the dispositive, way or file requisited. Maybe you don't have the right permissions to acces this item''.
My god,any of you computer programmers can help me?!?!?

what I would do:
A) access System Restore (%SystemRoot%\System32\restore\rstrui.exe) and choose a date before you installed the beta.
B) if you can't access that then I would backup everything you can then install windows over your current windows partition
Don't choose option B without letting us know before hand

FvF is a good place to hang out but not a good place to fight.

Use Mozilla Firefox, it's better.

I use Internet Explorer....
I've always used Internet Explorer....
I've never used anything but Internet Explorer....
The main things I hear about FireFox are, "omg! it's teh secure ands gots the TABS!!!"
I've never seen the fascination with "tabs" since there are buttons in the taskbar already for each window I open.... I can click them as easily as I could click a tab (now, when having a bunch of text files open in a text editor, tabs are priceless).
And if you keep up-to-date with your security patches with IE, you're fine. The only virus I've ever had was long, long, long ago, which arrived in an e-mail from my ISP....
I don't use a virus scanner or a firewall either. And I'm using Win98.
But of course, I know what to avoid doing that would get me all virusy...
