Quake Rally has been called one of the best conversions of Quake created. It’s obvious why. Unfortunately, Quake Rally was never completed and Quake Rally : Leftovers is all that is left of this fantastic project.
Included here are 7 maps and a few car models. The maps themselves aren’t the most impressive race tracks but they serve their purpose. The car models look more like RC cars then they do actual racing vehicles, especially if you choose to see the steering wheel. But the biggest problems are within the control of the vehicle. I suggest you read through the .txt file because it gives you a better understanding of the steering. Although with practice, you can become quite good at steering and you will find yourself flying through the tracks. My biggest gripe was that there wasn’t a brake.
Overall, this is truly a fun mod to play and works well in single player. The multiplayer aspect would’ve been fantastic, unfortunately they never got it to work correctly with QuakeWorld.
