To access the Bubble Gun you will need to enter, “impulse 9″, into the console. If you still want to cheat then enter, “impulse 13″. This mod is not bound to any keys so you may want to bind a key to the impulse code to offer quicker access.
This mod fires a black bubble that captures the target inside (screenshot 1), lifts them into the air, and then gibs them (screenshot 2). An interesting weapon to say the least. It does not use any regular ammo but you must refill it by finding water, this of course is a problem if you are being perused since you can’t fire the bubble gun in water. Here lies the problem with having to use the impulse code to access the gun. Obviously to vanquish any opposing forces you would have to switch weapons, easily done, but to switch back to the bubble gun requires you pause game play and enter the impulse code. So I highly recommend that you bind impulse 9 to a key.
Overall, the bubble gun is an interesting weapon with a nice skin and model to go with it. If you do not bind your keys then this mod will continually pause game play and become a nuisance. If bounded correctly this weapon is a cool addition to your arsenal
