I've had to upload these files to the TFA web space,
fileplanet isn't the best but at least you know the links won't
go dead.
Here are files and patches you'll need in addition
to Quake, in order to play TF online.

TF 2.9 QW Server Upgrade (612k)
Contains the QuakeWorld Only 2.9 Upgrade for SERVERS ONLY.
Download
TF 2.8 Full Installer (5.3meg)
Contains all versions, normal and QW.
Grab this if you don't have TF 2.6 or greater, or you're not sure
what version of TF you've got.
Download
TF 2.8 Full Zip (4.1meg)
Contains all versions, normal and QW.
Grab this if you're not running Win95/WinNT.
Download
TF 2.8 Upgrade Zip (1.5meg)
Contains all versions, normal and QW.
Grab this if you have TF 2.6, 2.666, or 2.7.
